Day 1- Beijing
Welcome to China. Today you will be welcome by your local expert and meet your group members in the lobby at 10 am. Your local expert will be briefing the tour, and you will get to know all the travelers.
After lunch, you will visit Tiananmen Sqaure and Forbidden City, followed by a walking tour of Hutong area- Old Beijing.

Day 2 - Beijing
Today is a free day to explore this amazing city. You can climb to the top of Jinshan Park for a bird's eye view of the three palaces: Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace and Tiananmen Square, or visit temple of Heaven & Lama temple. You can also visit fake market to test your barging skills.

Day 3: Beijing
Today we will head out to Great Wall. You will hike on the unrestored Great Wall section. We will enjoy a sunset on the Great Wall, settle in the local guesthouse under the Great Wall.
 
Day 4: Beijing
The sunrise on the Great Wall will be the most unforgettable experience of this tour. Today we will wake up early and watch the sunrise. Then you have time to explore more and do a short hike on the Great Wall before we head back to Beijing to board on the overnight train to Zhengzhou.

Day 5: Shaolin
You'll arrive in Zhengzhou in the morning, and you will meet your local leader who will take you to the hotel. After a late breakfast and refresh yourself, then you will visit Shaolin kungfu school where you will watch how students learn Kungfu in the daily bases.

Day 6: Shaolin - Xi'an
Enjoy a free morning in Shaolin. Late afternoon we will go to the train station and board on the fast train to Xi'an. Upon arrival in Xi'an, we will check in our hostel.  If you are not tired, you can go for a walk around the old city wall.

Day 7: Xi'an
Today we will visit the famous Terracotta Warrior Museum.
The Terracotta Army in Xian, is an extensive collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations, reproducing the mega imperial guard troops of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 – 210BC), the first emperor of the first unified dynasty of Imperial China. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Terracotta Army is no doubt a must-see for every visitor to Xian.
This afternoon you will visit the Muslim area and enjoy the local markets.

Day 8: Xi'an - Chengdu
You have a free morning, and you can visit Ming Dynasty City Walls or even ride a bike on the wall. Or visit the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the Qujiang District.
This afternoon you will on to the nest destination! You will board on the fast train to Chengdu, and then you will take the metro to the hostel and meet your new local expert leader.

Day 9 Chengdu
The day starts very early as you will be off to the Giant Panda Breeding & Research Centre. You will see panda up close and learn about the centers' efforts to breed them and release them into the wild.
Later in the day, you have the options to enjoy a traditional Sichuan opera show.

Day 10 Chengdu
Today is a free day! In the morning, you have the option to go to Leshan visit the Leshan Buddha. The Buddha located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province, at the confluence of three rivers, namely, Min River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River. It carved into the cliffs of Mt. Lingyun. A local saying describes the Buddha-like this: "The Mountain unveils a Buddha, while the Buddha fades into the mountain."
On the way to the Buddha, you also can visit Tea plantation and experience how to make local Chinese tea.
In the evening you can try famous Sichuan Ho Pot, or have a Karaoke night out.

Day 11 Yangshuo
This morning you will say goodbye to the local leader and board your bullet train to Guilin, where you will meet your new leader and take a local bus from Guilin to Yangshuo.
Your local leader will take you for a fun walk of the west street, make sure you try local rice noodles they are delicious.

Day 12 Yangshuo
Get ready and get active today! You will enjoy a bike tour around the beautiful countryside and climb up the moon hill.
In the evening you can have a big night out or shop on your own at a local market.

Day 13: Yangshuo
Today is another free day! There are a lot of things to see and do in Yangshuo. You can do a rock climbing to the top of one of the regions limestone peaks, or enjoy a Taichi lesson, or take a bamboo ride down to Yulong river, or relax and experience a traditional Chinese massage.

Day 14 Yangshuo - HKG
You have a free morning to explore more in Yangshuo. Today you will take the bus to Guilin west train station, say goodbye to your leader and board on the fast train to Hong Kong. The trip will end when you board on the train.
You will arrive at 14:55 Kowloon West station in HK, and this station located in the center of HKG. It connects local subways as well as trains to HK international airport where you can catch your flight home.

Visas 

A visa is required for entry into China for all nationalities except Japan, Singapore and Brunei who are allowed visa free stays under 14 days. Travellers holding APEC cards are allowed entrance visa free if their card has already been approved for China.

In some cases, you may be required to provide further information or documentation and if this is the case we will notify you as soon as possible. 

Vaccinations and Your Health

We recommend that you contact your primary care physician or a travel doctor for advice on vaccinations and travel health and we advise that you check to see if your tetanus-diphtheria booster is still valid every 10 years. 

Insurance 

Travel insurance is compulsory for all our customers. At the start of the trip you must provide us with: the name of your insurance company, your policy number, a 18 hour medical emergency contact number, and the expiry date of the policy. You should ensure that your policy covers you for medical expenses and repatriation. If you are unable to provide all this information at the start of the trip you will not be allowed to join the trip. You can purchase insurance easily online by checking our Travel Insurance page.

Luggage

One main piece of lockable baggage and a shoulder bag. Total allowance: 44lbs/20kgs. Remember, you are expected to carry your own baggage – so don’t overload yourself. It is essential that your baggage is lockable; the airline/train authorities insist on this. Please be aware, before boarding a flight in China that the Chinese authorities will only allow bottles onto aircraft if they have been checked in as main luggage. Any bottles in the hand luggage may be confiscated.
