Day 1 HKG - Yangshuo
Welcome to Hong Kong. Today you will be welcome by your local expert and meet your group members in the lobby at 8 am. Your local expert will be briefing the tour, and you will get to know all the travelers.
We will say Goodbye to HK today. Please meet in the lobby at 10 am and ready to go. We will cross board to Shenzhen then take a bullet train from Shenzhen to Guilin(3 hours). Then we will take a 2- hour bus from Guilin to Yangshuo. We will go for a fun walk after we check-in.

Day 2 Yangshuo
Get ready and get active today! You will enjoy a bike tour around the beautiful countryside and climb up the moon hill.
In the evening you can have a big night out or shop on your own in a local market.

Day 3 Yangshuo
Today is a free day! There are a lot of things to see and do in Yangshuo. You can do a rock climbing to the top of one of the region's limestone peaks, or enjoy a Taichi lesson, or take a bamboo ride down to Yulong river, or relax and experience a traditional Chinese massage.

Day 4 Yangshuo - Longji Rice Terrace - Pingan village
Early morning we will take a bus to Longji. Upon arrival, we will hike from Dazi village to Pingan village. You will be walking through the rice terrace, and the view is incredible. We will overnight at Pingan village. You have a chance to learn the local Miao culture.

Day 5 Pingan - Guilin - Chengdu
Today after breakfast we will enjoy a short hike around Pingan village, enjoy the morning view of rice terrace before taking a bus to Guilin train station. We will take a bullet train to Chengdu.

Day 6 Chengdu
The day starts very early as you will be off to the Giant Panda Breeding & Research Centre. You will see panda up close and learn about the centers' efforts to breed them and release them into the wild.
Later in the day, you have the option to enjoy a traditional Sichuan opera show.

Day 7 Chengdu
Today is a free day! In the morning, you have the option to go to Leshan to visit the Leshan Buddha. The Buddha located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province, at the confluence of three rivers, namely, Min River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River. It carved into the cliffs of Mt. Lingyun. A local saying describes the Buddha-like this: "The Mountain unveils a Buddha, while the Buddha fades into the mountain."
On the way to the Buddha, you also can visit Tea plantation and experience how to make local Chinese tea.
In the evening you can try famous Sichuan Ho Pot, or have a Karaoke night out.

Day 8 Chengdu
This morning you can have a late start or get up early and explore other sights in Chengdu.
You have options to visit Wenshu Monastery the largest and the best-preserved Buddhist Monastery in Chengdu. The temple provides the incense burned by people for free, and you can participate in the Buddhism activities for free. To give, rather than take – this may be the significance of Wenshu Monastery.
Around 6 pm, the optional activities will finish, and you will say goodbye to your local leader and your group.

Visas 

A visa is required for entry into China for all nationalities except Japan, Singapore and Brunei who are allowed visa free stays under 14 days. Travellers holding APEC cards are allowed entrance visa free if their card has already been approved for China.

In some cases, you may be required to provide further information or documentation and if this is the case we will notify you as soon as possible. 

Vaccinations and Your Health

We recommend that you contact your primary care physician or a travel doctor for advice on vaccinations and travel health and we advise that you check to see if your tetanus-diphtheria booster is still valid every 10 years. 

Insurance 

Travel insurance is compulsory for all our customers. At the start of the trip you must provide us with: the name of your insurance company, your policy number, a 18 hour medical emergency contact number, and the expiry date of the policy. You should ensure that your policy covers you for medical expenses and repatriation. If you are unable to provide all this information at the start of the trip you will not be allowed to join the trip. You can purchase insurance easily online by checking our Travel Insurance page.

Luggage

One main piece of lockable baggage and a shoulder bag. Total allowance: 44lbs/20kgs. Remember, you are expected to carry your own baggage – so don’t overload yourself. It is essential that your baggage is lockable; the airline/train authorities insist on this. Please be aware, before boarding a flight in China that the Chinese authorities will only allow bottles onto aircraft if they have been checked in as main luggage. Any bottles in the hand luggage may be confiscated.
