3-Day Tour of Guilin & Yangshuo

Overview

Take in the sights of Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave on this private tour that showcases the geographic and cultural highlights of Guilin. With banks insulated by rice paddies and water buffalo and jagged mountains spreading across the skyline, the Li River is a sightseer's dream come true. This tour includes a 4-hour tour down the river, followed by a trip to the 1,400-year-old Yangshuo Old Town with its beautiful countryside.

Day 1 Arrive Guilin

Arrive in Guilin by either flight or train and be transferred to your hotel. After a short break visit to the Reed Flute Cave known as the Palace of natural Arts with its natural formations. Next a visit to Water Moon Cave located at the confluence of the Li and Peach Blossom rivers. The water flows through the interior of the cave and looks like the moon floating in the water. Finish at Elephant Trunk Hill a stone formation that looks like an elephant drinking from the Li River.
Day 2 Guilin/Yangshuo

Start the morning with a boat cruise down the Li River finishing in the picturesque town of Yangshuo. The cruise shows off the spectacular limestone peaks of the karst formations that dot the landscape along with bamboo groves and rice paddies. Spend the rest of the day exploring Yangshuo town known for years by lone intrepid travellers to this remote area.
Day 3 Depart Guilin

You are free to depart at any time and be transferred back to the airport or train station.
